The arrest of Hemn Mam Ghader, a former political prisoner in Bukan

Hengaw: Heman Mam Ghader, a former political prisoner from Bukan, was arrested on the morning of Saturday, June 25, 2022, by Bukan Intelligence service forces and transferred to one of the detention centers of this security institution in Urmia.
 

According to a report received by Hengaw, security forces detained Heman Mam Ghader without providing any court documents, and there is no information available on the reasons for the arrest and the charges against him.
 

Heman Mam Ghader was pardoned on Nowruz on Saturday, April 11, 2020, after serving three years of his five-year sentence and was released from Bukan Prison.
 

Heman Mam Ghader was arrested in late spring of 2017, and in November 2017, he was sentenced by Branch 1 of the Revolutionary Court of Saqqez to six years in prison on charges of collaborating with the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran and transferred to Saqqez Prison.
 

He was transferred from Saqqez Central Prison to Bukan Central Prison in fall 2019.
