Tens of Religiuos activists Arrested in Kurdistan

Hengaw: Over the last week, tens of religiuos acivists were arrested by the security forces in Urmia province.

Over the last week, tens of religiuos acivists were arrested by the security forces on the charges of membership in a religious organisation in Boukan, Mahabad, Sardasht and Rabat, according to the report of Hengaw Organisation for Human Rights.

Untill now identities of 15 have been revealed.

1- Hiwa Hafid, university professor from Mahabad
2- Khaled Ghafouri teacher from Rabat
3- Kheder Akhtar, clergyman
4- Nezam Kachkar
5- Sadiq Rahmanzadeh
6- Avare Qeitarani from Boukan
7- Sadeq Hosseinpour
8- Hessam Mohammadi, clergyman
9- Mohammad Arman, clergyman
10- Omid Hemmatzadeh, clergyman
11- Rahmat Nosouhi
12- Ahmad Elahi
13- Ebrahim Tizro
14- Shahrokh Tizro
15- Ossameh Rahmanzadeh

These men were all arrested on the charge of membership in a religious organisation and kept in Urmia's intelligence office lockup, said a source with information.
