Intelligence forces arrest Kurdish father and son in Piranshahr

Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence has arrested 57-year-old Kurdish man Aziz Khezri and his 33-year-old son, Zanyar Khezri, in Piranshahr and transferred them to an undisclosed location.
According to information received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, intelligence agents raided their home in the village of Andizeh, Piranshahr, early Thursday morning, July 10, 2025, detaining both men without a court warrant.
A source described a heavy security presence during the operation.
No information is available about the reasons for their arrest, possible charges, or their current conditions and whereabouts.
