A Kurdish clergy identified as Mullah Yunes Nowkhah, one of the teachers of Salahaddin Ayubi School of Religious Studies in Piranshahr, was arrested by the security forces in Piranshahr on Thursday, July 7, 2022, and his fate is unknown.
According to the report received by Hengaw, teacher Mullah Yunes Nowkhah has been arrested by the security forces without providing any legal papers for criticizing the government.
According to an informed source, after being arrested, Mullah Yunes Nowkhah was transferred to a security detention center in Urmia and there is no information about his fate.
