A young citizen from Ilam identified as Benyamin Sabzi, 21, who was serving his mandatory military service in Kermanshah, hanged himself and ended his life.
According to the report received by Hengaw, Benyamin Sabzi committed suicide on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at the place of his forced service.
Until the time of writing this news, there is no detailed information about the reason for the suicide of the soldier from Ilam.
It should be noted that Iran is one of the few countries where military service is mandatory, and a large number of soldiers commit suicide every year and end their lives due to the mental, psychological, and financial pressures caused by the military service period.
