The environmental activist, Navid Kohnehpushi from Marivan, was arrested again

Navid Kohnehpushi, an environmental activist and an active member of the Green Chia Association in Marivan, was arrested last week by the Marivan Intelligence forces and transferred to the detention center of this security institution in Sanandaj.
 
According to the report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, Navid Kohnehpushi, 31, one of the environmental activists in Marivan, was arrested on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, after being summoned to the intelligence Office of this city.
 

Hengaw has been informed that Navid Kohnehpushi recently had a short phone call with his family and announced that he was transferred to the detention center of the Sanandaj Intelligence Office.
 

Until the time of writing this news, there is no exact information on the reasons for the arrest and the charges against this environmental activist.

 
It should be noted that Navid Kohnehpushi was arrested on Sunday, October 31, 2021, after being summoned to Marivan Intelligence Office, and he was released on bail after two months on Saturday, January 1, 2022. 
 
Navid Kohnehpushi, 31, has been an active member of the Green Chia Association in Marivan for 11 years.
