In the continuation of the recent wave of arrests of Kurdish citizens, Hengaw has revealed the identities of 23 citizens arrested in the cities of Sonqor, Sanandaj, Mahabad, Piranshahr, Oshnovieh, and Urmia.
 

13 individuals, including Adel Karimian, Madeh Fadaei, Khalid Jarahi, Hawre Mohammadiani, Farooq Mohammadi, Hossein Nasrollaei, Ezatullah Shekhi, Arvin Moradi, Reza Ainanloo, Saadoun Zarei, Arman Said Sadeghi, Farzad Rahim Panaei, and Mahdi Marofi, were detained during recent protests in Saqqez, according to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights.
 

In the meanwhile, security forces in Mahabad detained Shilan Pouramini, Matin Malabakri, and 34-year-old Kamran Mahmoudi. Two days later, Shilan Pouramini was released.
 

Security forces recently detained Seyed Milad Fidaei and Seyed Ali Sultanian, two Sonqor city residents, for demonstrating against the State murder of Zhina Amini.
 

The fate of Shawaneh Bazirgani, from Piranshahr, and Hemin Khastan, a Sanandaj resident and activist for the environment who was detained by security forces on Sunday, October 2, and Friday, September 30, respectively, remains unknown.
 

The fate of Shahram Gorgani, 50, of Oshnovieh, who was detained on October 5 in the evening, and Arman Chahardivar, 25, a citizen of Selmas and an Urmia resident, who was detained on September 23 as part of the wave of arrests, remains unknown.
 

Hengaw has been informed that on Tuesday, September 20, Behrooz Mohammadzadeh, a 20-year-old citizen of Saqqez, was detained during the protests in Tehran and freed one day later after providing a written commitment.
