Jafar Amiri, one of the famous artists and civil activists of Kermanshah, was arrested by the security forces last week and his fate is unknown.
According to the report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, Jafar Amiri was arrested on Saturday, October 8, 2022, in Kermanshah by the intelligence forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
According to an informed source, the Kurdish artist has been arrested in connection with the recent protests in Kermanshah condemning the state murder of Zhina Amini.
A week has passed since the arrest of the artist, and despite continuous follow-up by his family, there is no accurate information about the fate and whereabouts of Jafar Amiri.
