A 41-year-old citizen from Sanandaj, Khabat Asadi, was arrested by the security forces about two weeks ago, and despite his illness, he is still deprived of the right to visit his family and access his medicines.
 

According to the report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, Khabat Asadi was arrested in the evening of Wednesday, October 12, 2022, in the Hajiabad neighborhood of ​​Sanandaj by IRGC forces and is currently being detained in Shahramfar IRGC detention center.
 

One of the relatives of Asadi's family told Hengaw in this regard: "Khabat Asadi suffers from diabetes and two years ago his right leg was amputated by doctors for this reason, however, despite providing all the medical documents, this security institution still prevents him to visit his family or to be temporarily released."
 

The source, who did not want to be named for security reasons, continued: "Khabat Asadi has not had any contact with his family since his arrest and has been deprived of the right to access his medicines, and this has put his health in serious danger."
