A report on Fereshte Ahmadi's death during the Mahabad protests

Fereshte Ahmadi, who was killed by direct fire from government forces during the protests on Thursday, was buried in one of the villages around Mahabad.
 

According to the report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on the evening of Thursday, October 27, 2022, and during the protests and resistance of the people in Mahabad, a young woman called Fereshte Ahmadi, 32, was on the roof of their house and was shot in the chest. She was hit by a war bullet from government forces and lost her life.
 

According to an informed source, the government's security institutions requested that her funeral be held at night, which was met with strong opposition from the family. However, they did not allow Fereshte's body to be transferred to Sardasht, where she was born in.
 

Fereshte Ahmadi's funeral ceremony was held on Friday in Hamzeabad village of Mahabad.
 

It should be mentioned that Fereshte Ahmadi was from Sardasht and lived in Mahabad, and she has two children.
 

During the protests on the same day in Mahabad, where the burial ceremony of Esmail Mowludi (Smko) was held, one of the victims of the October 26 in Mahabad, three other citizens from Mahabad named Shaho Khezri, Kobra Sheikh-Saqa, and Zaniar Abubakri were killed by direct fire from the government forces.
