In the continuation of the wave of arrests in Kurdistan, six citizens from Mahabad, named Mohsen Maroufi, Rebwar Molannejad, Mohammad Lashkari, Amir Abdullazadeh, Ali Hakim, and Mohammad Qarani Azar, were abducted by Iranian security forces.

According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, government agents abducted each of the Mahabad residents Mohsen Maroufi, Rebwar Molannejad, Mohammad Lashkari, Amir Abdullazadeh, Ali Hakim, and Mohammad Qarani Azar from October 28 to November 3.

The government forces reportedly abducted Mohsen Maroufi, Rebwar Molannejad, Mohammad Lashkari, Amir Abdullazadeh, and Ali Hakim on Friday and Saturday, September 28 and 29. They were taken to unknown places.

Additionally, on November 3, 2022, 57-year-old Mohammad Qarani Azar from Mahabad was also kidnapped and taken to an unknown location.

According to eyewitnesses, during the abduction of Rebwar Molannejad, government forces resorted to extreme violence.

So far, no detailed information has been made available about the fate and whereabouts of these citizens.
