The government forces stationed in Saqqez targeted and killed a citizen named Abdulrahman Bakhtiari, 66, on his way home.
According to the report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on the evening of Thursday, November 17, 2022, Abdulrahman Bakhtiari, 66, was killed in his car by direct fire from government forces on his way back home.
Abdulrahman Bakhtiari, a retired employee of the Saqqez Education Service, was killed by government forces on Saadi Street in this city. Hengaw has been informed that Abdulrahaman was killed while returning from the wedding ceremony of one of his relatives.
According to informed sources, the government kidnapped Abdulrahman Bakhtiari's body and buried it at night after taking it to Salah Aldin Ayoubi Mosque.
