Khidir Mohammadi, a Kurdish language instructor who was detained in Piranshahr, has been detained for 16 days already, but no information on his condition or whereabouts has been made public.

Khidir Muhammadi, from Piranshahr, has been taken to an undisclosed location since his arrest on Friday, November 25, 2022, according to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, and his family's efforts to learn more about his fate have been futile. This citizen didn't know his whereabouts and had only a brief phone conversation with his family, during which he announced the continuation of his arrest.

It should be mentioned that Khidir Mohammadi's son Hawar was arrested in Piranshahr, and Khidir was called to the Iranian Intelligence Department in this city to visit his son and was arrested there after visiting this security institution.

On Wednesday, November 23, 2022, Hawar Muhammadi, the son of Khidir Muhammadi, and Salah Mohammadi, his nephew, were abducted by Iranian government forces in Piranshahr. Hawar Muhammadi has released at the same time that his father went to the intelligence department, and Salah Muhammadi is still in the detention center.

Khidir Muhammadi, in addition to teaching Kurdish, is an active member of the Mergjan publishing community and Dengi Ashna newspapers.
