On her way back to Tehran from the University of Kurdistan in Sanandaj, Parisa Habibpour, a resident of Tehran, was abducted by Iranian government agents.
Parisa Habibpour, a resident of Tehran and a native of Urmia, was reportedly abducted by Iranian government forces on the evening of Monday, December 19, 2022, according to a report that the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights received. Parisa was at the Sanandaj Terminal, returning to Tehran.
This 21-year-old citizen is enrolled in the economics department at the University of Kurdistan in Sanandaj, according to the information Hengaw has obtained.
Since Saturday, September 17, this year, 87 Kurdish students, including Parisa Habibpour, have been detained or abducted by Iranian government institutions, according to records kept in the Statistics and Documents Center of the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights.
