The fate of Omid Faramarezi, an arrested citizen from Eyvan, remains unknown after his arrest

The status of Omid Framarzi, an arrested citizen and member of the Eyvan sports community from Ilam province, is still unknown after his arrest.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, repeated follow-ups by the family of Omid Faramarzi for more than two weeks to find out about the condition of their son have not led to any results, and no information about his whereabouts has been available.

This citizen from Eyvan was transferred to an unknown location on Friday, December 7, 2022, after being arrested by the Iranian government forces.

Since his arrest, Omid Faramarezi has been deprived of his basic rights, such as the right to visit his family and access to a lawyer.
