Executions of four prisoners carried out in Qazvin and Zanjan prisons

The death sentences of four prisoners—two Turkish, one Lor, and one Tat—identified as Yousef Parsa, Alireza Bagheri, Mehran Habibi, and Esmaeil Valipour, were carried out in the prisons of Qazvin and Zanjan. All four had been sentenced to death in separate drug-related cases.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, the executions of Bagheri, 40, from Zanjan; Habibi, 34, from Takestan in Qazvin Province; and Valipour, also from Zanjan, were carried out at Zanjan Central Prison.
Bagheri had been held for three years, Habibi for four years, and Valipour for two years prior to their death sentences being issued by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran on charges related to drug offenses.
On the same day, Parsa, a resident of Aligudarz in Lorestan Province, was executed at Qazvin Central Prison.
The executions of these four individuals have not been announced by state-affiliated media, including outlets tied to the Iranian judiciary.
