A Kurdish citizen named Farshad Ebrahimi, from the village of Qaleh Gah, near the Mochesh district of Kamyaran, was shot by Iranian government forces at a checkpoint on the suspicion of carrying contraband and died immediately.
According to the report received by the Hengaw organization for human rights, on Saturday, December 24, 2022, the Iranian government forces stationed at the entrance of Kamyaran targeted a Peugeot 405 with direct fire, as a result of which Farshad Ebrahimi, the driver of this car, was killed.
According to informed sources, two of the passengers in this car have been summoned to one of the security institutions after they survived the shootings.
The body of Farshad Ebrahimi has been transferred to Kermanshah, and the government institutions refuse to hand it over to his family and relatives.
