Mohammad Sabahi, a resident of Hassan Abad village in Bukan, was detained and transferred to the prison of this city to serve a six-month sentence.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Mohammad Sabahi, a Kurdish citizen from Bukan, was arrested on Monday, December 26, 2022, after being summoned to serve his six-month sentence and was transferred to the central prison of this city.

According to an informed source, the court session of Mohammad Sabahi was held on Monday, May 23, 2022, in the 102nd branch of the Criminal Court in Piranshahr, and the verdict was officially communicated to him on Saturday, August 20.

Mohammad Sabahi was arrested by the Iranian government forces on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. It is worth mentioning that these forces had tried to confiscate his computer, mobile phone, and printer.

After spending a period of interrogation in detention centers in Urmia, Mohammad Sabahi was transferred to Naghadeh Prison and then released on bail.
