In the last 48 hours, the death sentences of Farhad Karmi from Paveh, Saadullah Karimi Sirini from Kermanshah, and Rostam Abbaszadeh from Selmas on the grounds of "deliberate murder" and "narcotic drugs," respectively, were issued and carried out in the prisons of Kermanshah and Karaj.

The death sentences of Saadullah Karimi Sirini, 42, from the village of "Srin" in Kermanshah, and Farhad Karimi (Farah), from the hamlet of "Kumre" in Paveh, were carried out at dawn on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, according to the report that the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights received.

An informed source says that Farhad Karimi was apprehended and given a death sentence three years ago for claiming responsibility for a murder that he did not commit. Saadullah Karimi was apprehended two years ago and given the death penalty for killing his brother-in-law.

Also, on the morning of Thursday, January 5, 2023, the death sentence of Rostam Abbaszadeh, 45 years old from the village of "Qezelkand" in Selmas district, was executed in the Ghezel Hesar prison of Karaj.

Along with Rostam Abbaszadeh, a Kurdish citizen, the death sentence of another prisoner named Mehdi Asgari, 32 years old, from Tehran and with two children, was executed in Qezael Hesar prison in Karaj.

These two imprisoned citizens were arrested in 2016 on charges related to "narcotics" and sent to Karaj prison.

The execution of these two prisoners took place while the prison authorities had deprived them of the last meeting with their families.
