Jalal Amini from Bukan was sentenced to 44 months in prison

Jalal Amini from Bukan, who was arrested by government forces in the summer, was sentenced to 3 years and 8 months in prison.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Branch 101 of the Bukan Revolutionary Court has sentenced the citizen to 3 years and 8 months in prison for the charge of "membership and cooperation with the Kurdistan Free Live Party (PJAK)."

Jalal Amini was arrested by the forces of the Bukan Intelligence Department when returning home on Amirabad Road on Monday, August 15, 2022.

After a period of detention and interrogation, he was transferred from the detention center of the Intelligence Department to Bukan Central Prison on Saturday, August 27, 2022, and he was released on bail on September 4, 2022.

This prisoner was deprived of the right to access a lawyer and other basic rights during his detention and interrogation.

Mr. Amini is the husband of former political prisoner Azimeh Naseri. In recent years, he has been summoned and interrogated several times by security agencies.
