During the protests of educators and parents of students in Sanandaj city against the chemical attacks on schools, at least six teachers named Bahauddin Maleki, Wria Karimi, Kamal Fekorian, Jabar Pakzad, Mukhtar Asadi, and Abid Ahmadi were abducted by Iranian government forces.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, Bahauddin Maleki and Wria Karimi, teachers from Sanandaj, were abducted by the government forces during a protest rally in front of the General Directorate of Education of this city.
Also, Kamal Fekorian and Jabar Pakzad, members of the board of directors of the Sanandaj Teachers Union, were kidnapped by the forces of this department while going to the security police to get information about their colleagues.
In addition, Mukhtar Asadi, a teacher, was kidnapped in his home in Sanandaj city, and another teacher named Abed Ahmadi was kidnapped in front of the city's security police station.
Also, several teachers and attendees participating in a protest rally against chemical attacks on students were shot by government forces.
This rally was held at the call of the Coordinating Council of Union Organizations of Farhangians to protest the chemical attacks against Iranian school students.
