A Kurdish prisoner from Islamabad-e-Gharb (Shabad) named Mehdi Karmi was killed during a fight between prisoners in Kermanshah Central Prison.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, a prisoner named Mehdi Karmi from Islamabad-e-Gharb was killed as a result of a fight between prisoners in Kermanshah Central Prison (Dieselabad).
According to an informed source, this prisoner was stabbed to death by another prisoner named Milad Jame-Shourani.
Hengaw had previously reported that another prisoner named Majid Shahwaisi, 35 years old, from Kermanshah, was killed with a knife during a fight between prisoners in this prison on February 22, 2023.
