Continuing the detention of Fakhreddin Ebrahimi, the 17-year-old son of Muhyaddin Ebrahimi, an executed political prisoner

A day has passed since the arrest of Fakhreddin Ebrahimi, the son of Kurdish political prisoner Muhyaddin Ebrahimi, who was executed in the last days of last year before Newroz, there is no information about his fate.
 
According to the report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, Fakhreddin Ebrahimi, the 17-year-old son of Muhyaddin Ebrahimi, was arrested on Monday, April 3, 2023, after referring to branch 9 of the Urmia Revolution and General Prosecutor's Office, and was taken to an unknown location.
 
Until this news is written, there is no accurate information about his fate, and his family's follow-up in this regard has been fruitless.
 
According to one of the relatives of the Ebrahimi family, Fakhreddin Ebrahimi was summoned to the branch on March 27, after receiving a notification on the charge of "destroying the security gate of Urmia Central Prison".
 
It should be mentioned that Fakhreddin Ebrahimi was arrested in front of Urmia Central prison on Thursday, March 16, 2023, one day before the execution of his father, and was released after one day.
 
The death sentence of Muhyaddin Ebrahimi, a Kurdish political prisoner, was executed on Friday, March 17, 2023, in Urmia Central Prison, and after nearly 20 days, his body has not been handed over to his family. Referring to the document that was delivered to Ebrahimi's family in the past few days, the civil registry office of Naghdeh stated the cause of death of this political prisoner as "legal punishment" in the death certificate.
