The Hengaw Organization not only addresses the severe violations of human rights by the Islamic Republic but also consistently criticizes the performance of some human rights organizations, especially those with an Iranian focus, that produce reports on the human rights situation.

These reports are mainly based on the opinions and political backgrounds of Iranian experts, which reflect less than the actual severity of human rights violations in Kurdish cities. The methodology of their research and documentation has always been plagued by excessive weaknesses.

As one of the main human rights reporters in Kurdistan, Hengaw has repeatedly pointed out these weaknesses to these organizations, but for unknown reasons, they have been denied. One of the organizations in question is a human rights watch with a specific focus on Iran, which failed to address all aspects and statistics published by Hengaw in its latest report on child abuse and torture by security forces.

As one of the main monitoring organizations of the human rights situation in Kurdish cities, we denounce the biased performance of this human rights organization and request that they reconsider their performance.

Hengaw has always stated that the dominant human rights situation is discriminatory and that, due to numerous political and historical reasons, severe human rights violations in Kurdistan are reflected less than the actual situation.

In this regard, we invite you to read the Hengaw Legal Office's documented report on the violation of children's rights in Kurdistan, which has been confronted with denial by the human rights watch in Iran.
