A Baloch teenager named Samir Gardhani was killed and 3 other motorcycle riders were injured after two motorcycles were run over by Iranian government forces in Fanuj city of Sistan and Balochistan. These forces continued to target the protestors with direct fire and seriously injured three other citizens.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the evening of Tuesday, April 25, 2023, a car belonging to the Iranian police forces of Fanuj city ran over two motorcycles during a chase, as a result of which 16-year-old Samir Gardhani was killed due to his injuries and three others were injured and taken to the hospital.
Following this action, the citizens of Fanuj city came to the street in protest and started a rally in front of the police station of this city, which was turned violent by the direct firing of the Iranian government forces. As a result of these forces shooting at the protesting citizens, at least three citizens were injured.
Baloch Activists Campaign identified the injured last night as Mohammad Nosrati, son of Ismail, Mohammad Arbabi, son of Shekar, Amir Hossein Nosrati, Amin Nosrati, and Alireza Nosrati.
