Two prisoners in Khorramabad prison were executed, and the execution of another was suspended

The death sentences of two prisoners named Mohammad Padayar and Peyman Akbari Birgani, both from Shushtar, Khuzistan province, were executed in Khorramabad Central Prison. Additionally, Firouz Yarinejad Gravand's death sentence was suspended.
 
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at 6:30 in the morning on Monday, May 15, 2023, Mohammad Paydar and Peyman Akbari Birgani, both from Shushtar, Khuzestan province, were executed in Khorramabad Central Prison.
 

Hengaw has been informed that, at the same time, the death sentence of Firoz Yarinejad Gravand, from Kohdasht, Lorestan province, has been suspended temporarily.
 
These three prisoners were previously arrested and sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran for drug-related crimes.

The news of Mohammad Paydar and Peyman Akbari Birgani's execution has not yet been reported in the media associated with the judiciary and government.
