In continuation of the widespread arrests of civil and labor activists in Sanandaj, Burhan Saeedi, a well-known labor activist, was arrested.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, labor activist Burhan Saeedi from Sanandaj was arrested after he was summoned to the intelligence department of this city on Thursday, May 18, 2023.
His whereabouts, charges, and exact reasons for his arrest are all unknown.
In this regard, on Wednesday night, May 17, eight other labor activists in Sanandaj were abducted by government forces.
