Fateh Majidi, a dismissed teacher at the Department of Education, and Saeed Mohammadi, a labor activist, were both sentenced to four months of imprisonment by the local Revolutionary Court of Baneh by chief Judge Mirzaei.
 

According to a report received by the Hengaw organization for human rights, on May 10th, 2023, Fateh Majidi and Saeed Mohammadi, prominent figures in Baneh, were convicted on charges of "membership in the Komala Party" and "propaganda against the regime" and sentenced to 4 months imprisonment each.
 

Hengaw has been informed that two months of their prison terms will be credited towards the time they have already spent in custody, while the remaining two months will be suspended for a duration of one year.
 

Fateh Majidi and Saeed Mohammadi were arrested on April 26th, 2022, by intelligence department forces. After spending 50 days behind bars, they were subsequently released from prison upon posting a bail of 300 million tomans, pending the conclusion of their legal proceedings.
