Farzad Karimi, from Sanandaj, who was arrested by government forces in Ahvaz during the nationwide "Women, Life, Freedom" movement, has been sentenced to five years of suspended imprisonment.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Farzad Karimi from Tangi Sar village in Sanandaj was sentenced to 5 years of suspended imprisonment by the 1st branch of the Ahvaz Revolutionary Court.
 

According to an informed source, this sentence was issued by Judge Sharifi on the charge of "misleading the public's opinion".


It should be noted that Farzad Karimi, who was working in Ahvaz, was arrested on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, by the forces of the Intelligence Department of this city. After some time, he was temporarily released on bail.
