In the ongoing oppression on Baha’i minorities, 4 adherents sentenced to combine 20 years imprisonment
Four Baha'i adherents, Shadi Shahidzadeh, Mansour Amini, Veliollah Qadamian, and

Four Baha'i adherents, Shadi Shahidzadeh, Mansour Amini, Veliollah Qadamian, and Ataollah Zafar, who are currently serving their sentences in Evin Prison, have been collectively sentenced to a total of 20 years of imprisonment by the Tehran Revolutionary Court.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, recently Shadi Shahidzadeh, Mansour Amini, Veliollah Qadamian, and Ataollah Zafar, Baha'i residents of Tehran, were sentenced by Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, presided by chief Judge Iman Afshari, on charges of "membership in illegal groups and organizations with the aim of undermining national security." Each of them received a five-year imprisonment sentence.
The sentences of these four Baha'i adherents, whose charges were examined on the 31st of May, 2023, have been officially presented to them.
These verdicts were issued by the Tehran Revolutionary Court, while Shadi Shahidzadeh, Mansour Amini, Veliollah Qadamian, and Ataollah Zafar were under interrogation and pressure from government institutions.
These four Baha'i adherents were arrested by government forces on May 1st, 2023 and transferred to the detention center of the Ministry of Intelligence, known as Ward 209 of Evin Prison.
