Two Additional Members of pleading families of the victims of the recent uprising sentenced to imprisonment and flagging

Fallowing the persistent suppression on the families of the victims of the widespread protests seeking justice for their loved ones, Abdulrahman Nasri and Arman Habibi, both from Sanandaj, have been sentenced to six months' imprisonment and flagging to 40 lashes each by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to reports received by the Hengaw organization for Human Rights, Abdulrahman Nasri and Arman Habibi were recently convicted by Branch 101 of the Criminal Court of Bukan. The charges against them included "disturbing public order." The court officially communicated their verdict, sentencing them to six months' imprisonment and flagging to 40 lashes.
The arrest of Abdulrahman Nasri and Arman Habibi took place on the evening of Friday, June 9th, 2023, along with a group of families of victims associated with the nationwide resistance movements in Sanandaj, Divandarreh, and Dehgolan. They were apprehended while returning from a commemoration ceremony for the fallen victims of the resistance in the cities of Saqqez and Bukan. Subsequently, they were detained by government forces and transferred to Bukan Central Prison.
Following a temporary post of bail, these family members were eventually released from Bukan Prison on the evening of Friday, June 16, 2023.
It is important to note that during their detention period, Abdulrahman Nasri and Arman Habibi were deprived of their right to legal representation, visits from family members, and other fundamental rights.
Arman Habibi is the brother of Aram Habibi, a young man who lost his life during the previous year's protests, while Abdulrahman Nasri is the father of Matin Nasri, who also fell victim to the Jin, Jian, Azadi movement in Sanandaj at the hands of government forces.
Previously, Hassan Amini and Hashem Saadi, the brother and father of Mohammad Amini and Sarina Saadi, who were also victims of the Jen, Jian, Azadi Revolution in Sanandaj, had also received similar sentences from the same court.
