Following the arbitrary detention Iranian authorities arrested to more Kurdish individuals

In line with an ongoing pattern of arrests targeting Kurdish individuals by government forces, Youssef Bakri, a from Mahabad, and Mohammad Rostami, a resident of Sanandaj, have been detained and subsequently relocated to undisclosed facilities.
 

According to a report obtained by the Hengaw organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, Youssef Bakri, aged 38 and residing in the locality of "Poshtapeh," Mahabad, was apprehended by government forces.
 

Also in the same day, Tuesday July 11th, Mohammad Rostami, a 33-year-old from Sanandaj, was arrested by government forces.
 

The detentions of both Youssef Bakri and Mohammad Rostami took place at their respective workplaces, without the presentation of any legal documentation. As of now, there is no precise information regarding the charges against them and the specific locations where they are currently being held. Despite the families' efforts to obtain such information, they have been unsuccessful thus far.
