The license of Artina Sports Primary School and Preschool in Sanandaj has been revoked due to what was called "supporting the protests", with the final approval of the organizations affiliated with the Iranian Ministry of Education.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the Kurdistan Province Non-Governmental Centers and Schools Supervision Council has revoked the license of an elementary education unit named Artina located in the second district of this city due to its support for recent nationwide protests.
According to the documents that have been submitted to Hengaw, the decision of this council has recently been confirmed and enforced by the Organization of Non-Governmental Schools and Centers and the Development of Popular Partnerships of the Iranian Ministry of Education.
Sepideh Safarian, the director and founder of Artina Sports Elementary and Preschool, published a message on the Instagram page of this educational unit related to the revocation of the school’s license for "farming up cases and submitting incorrect reports."
Artina Primary and Post-Primary School was established in 2013 with the permission of the Iranian Ministry of Education.
