Hussein Chokali, a renowned designer and painter from Naghadeh and currently residing in Urmia was arrested by government forces in Urmia and subsequently relocated to an undisclosed location.
A report obtained by the Hengaw organization for Human Rights, highlights that on Sunday evening, July 30th, 2023, Mr. Chokali 28 year -old from “Dash Dorgeh” village in Naghadeh, currently residing in Urmia, apprehended by government authorities.
A reliable source has revealed to Hengaw that Mr. Chokali was engaged in providing artistic education at his academy, detained without any official authorization from government authorities.
