Saman Yasin, a detained rapper and songwriter from Kermanshah (Kermashan), has been transferred from Rajai Shahr prison to Evin prison for unknown reasons.

 

According to a report received by the Hengaw organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, August2nd, 2023, Saman Yasin, a 27-year-old political prisoner, rapper, and lyricist, was moved from Rajai Shahr prison to Ward Eight of Evin prison.
 

 

As reliable informed source reveals the transfer of Saman Yasin was carried out urgently along with a group of long term political prisoners.
 

Recently, Saman Yasin had reported his unstable physical and mental condition due to the injection of an unknown medicine and his urgent need for transfer to a medical centers outside the prison.
 

The young artist mentioned that after receiving the injection, he remained unconscious for over 24 hours and upon regaining consciousness, he found himself restrained to a hospital bed. He emphasized that a device was connected to his head, and he experienced vision problems for two days.
 

Saman Yasin was returned from Aminabad Psychiatric Center to Rajai Shahr prison on the evening of Tuesday, the 25th of July.
 

On the 29th of October 2022), Saman Yasin, also known as Saman Seyedi, a lyricist, composer, and rapper from Kermanshah, residing in Tehran, was sentenced to death by the Public Revolutionary Court of Tehran on charges of "insurrection." The sentence was overturned by the Supreme Court, and his case was referred back to the branch for further review.
 

Saman Yasin was arrested on Sunday October 2nd, 2022, at his residence for supporting protests by security forces and later transferred to Rajai Shahr prison after interrogation.
