A Kurdish teenager, 17, from Takab City, called Azad Yarahamdi, was arrested by the government forces and taken to an unknown place.
 

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Azad Yarahamdi, 17, from the village of Aq Darreh, Takab, was arrested by government forces on Thursday, August 3, 2023.
 

According to informed sources, the arrest of this teenager is related to the recent protests of the residents of Aq Darreh against the authorities of the gold mine in this village.
 

Earlier, Hengaw announced the arrest of at least 50 protesters during the protests of the citizens of Aq Darreh against the lack of employment of local residents in the gold mine in this village.
 

In this regard, at least 46 arrested citizens from Aq Darreh village, Takab, were transferred to the detention centers of security institutions in Urmia on Tuesday, August 1, 2023.
 

In the early hours of the morning on Monday, July 31, 2023, the government forces attacked the village of Aq Darreh, and in addition to arresting at least 50 citizens and injuring three citizens with direct fire, they caused considerable damage to the houses and cars of the residents of Aq Darreh village.
