The death sentences of two prisoners, Hossein Nassirian from Kazerun and Hassan Ali Shakib from Arsenjan, were carried out at Shiraz Central Prison. These two prisoners had previously been sentenced to death due to their involvement in drug-related crimes.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization For Human Rights, In the early hours of Tuesday, August 8, 2023, the death sentences of Hossein Nassirian, 40 years old, from Kazerun, and Hassan Ali Shakib from Arsenjan, were carried out at Shiraz Central Prison.
According to the report by the Iranian Human rights organization on the execution of these two prisoners from Fars province: Hossein Nassirian, who worked as a janitor at a factory since three years ago, and Hassan Ali Shakib about two years ago were arrested for drug-related crimes and subsequently sentenced to death.
So far, the execution of Hossein Nassirian and Hassan Ali Shakib has not been announced by the government media or the media affiliated with the judiciary.
