Fereshteh Mansouri, a Kurdish civil activist from Saraboleh City of Ilam Province, who was arrested at the beginning of the recent nationwide protests (the Women, Life, Freedom movement), was sentenced to 6 months and 1 day in prison by the Iranian Judiciary. She was previously sentenced to six months in prison.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, recently Branch 101 of the Iranian Criminal Court in Cheradol City of Ilam province sentenced 36-year-old Fereshteh Mansouri, a Kurdish civil activist, to 6 months and one day in prison on the charge of "spreading false information to disturb the public opinion".

Fereshteh Mansouri's sentence of six months and one day of imprisonment has been reduced by the Cheradol Criminal Court to suspension with supervision for three years. According to this verdict, Fereshteh Mansouri's mobile phone SIM cards and personal pages will be confiscated, and she will be required to visit psychological centers for a period of time and submit a health certificate at the end of it.

In February 2023, Fereshteh Mansouri was also sentenced to 3 years and 6 months in prison on charges such as "disturbing the public order and peace", "insulting the leader of the Islamic Republic" and "gathering and colluding against internal security". Despite Fereshteh Mansouri being responsible for the custody of the minor child and being the head of the household, this verdict was finalized and implementable without review or permission for the lawyer to present a defense.

Fereshteh Mansouri, a mountaineer and medical equipment graduate, was arrested by the Iranian government forces on Sunday, October 23, 2022. She was finally released on parole after posting 550 million Tomans (10,000 USD) of bail.

This civil activist was also arrested in Tabriz in 2008 and suspended from education for one semester. She was also arrested during the 2019 protests by Iranian intelligence in Saraboleh City and released after a period of interrogation and detention.
