According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Saywan Ebrahimi, one of the civil activists from Kamiyaran, was recently sentenced to one year of imprisonment in the Dizelabad prison of Kermanshah and 40 lashes by the 106th branch of the Sanandaj Criminal Court on the charge of "disrupting public order".

On his personal Instagram page, Sayvan Ebrahimi stated that the most important reason for this verdict, as the court also pointed out, was "not retreating from his previous positions".
