One of the environmental activists, named Khaled Mehrasa, hailing from Sarvabad, was apprehended by Iranian government forces during a raid and subsequently transported to an undisclosed location.
 

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organisation for Human Rights, on Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 10:00 p.m., Khaled Mehrasa, a 34-year-old environmental activist hailing from the village of "Ravar" in Sarvabad and residing in Marivan, was apprehended by the intelligence forces of the IRGC.
 

According to reliable sources, a team of over ten members from the IRGC intelligence forces reportedly conducted a raid on Khaled Mehrasa's shop in Marivan. The operation involved the use of violence and three vehicles, including Paykan Peugeot and Hilux cars, resulting in the apprehension of this citizen.
 

Khaled Mehrasa serves as the sole guardian of his young daughter, and it has been reported that the child's mental condition is unfavourable following her father's arrest.
