Dr. Bakhtiar Mohammadzadeh, a medical doctor and resident of the Darreh Shahr, was detained following a summons to the Ilam Intelligence Office. He had previously been detained in February and was released on bail after two months.
According to reports received by the Hengaw organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, August 29th, 2023, Dr. Bakhtiar Mohammadzadeh, a resident of the Darreh Shahr, was detained after being summoned to the Ilam Intelligence Office and transferred to an undisclosed location.
As of the time of this report, precise information regarding the reasons for his detention and the charges against him are not available.
It is worth noting that Dr. Bakhtiar Mohammadzadeh was previously detained in early February after being summoned to the Ilam Intelligence Office and was temporarily released on bail of three billion Iranian Toman pending a court hearing.
Hengaw had previously reported that Mr. Mohammadzadeh was the director of a pharmacy in the city of Darreh Shahr in the Ilam province and had been working there prior to his arrest.
