Ayoub Aghaliani, a 22-year-old resident of Oshnavieh (Shno), who was apprehended last autumn during the "Woman, Life, Freedom" movement and subsequently received sentences of imprisonment and flogging in two separate cases, has been detained by the judicial authorities of the Islamic Republic and subsequently transferred to Naghadeh prison.
 

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organisation for Human Rights,On Wednesday, August 23, 2023, Ayoub Aghaliani, a resident of Oshnavieh, was transferred to Naghadeh prison to commence a four-year sentence, following his summons and arrest by the Court of Execution of Sentences in this city.
 

In January 2023, Ayoub Aghaliani was initially sentenced to 10 years and 6 months of imprisonment, along with 70 lashes, by Branch 101 of Criminal Court No. 2 in Oshnavieh. However, this sentence was subsequently reduced to a four-year custodial term, and he is presently incarcerated, serving this revised sentence.
 

Furthermore, in February of the current year, this young protester was sentenced to one year and five months in prison by Branch 106 of the Urmia Criminal Court for the charge of "destroying public property with the intention of confronting the system and disrupting public peace and order."
 

Meanwhile, in his third case, Ayoub Aghaliani appeared before the Third Branch of the Urmia Revolutionary Court on Saturday, March 11, 2023, where he faced charges of "disturbance of public order and peace" and "destruction of public property with the intention of confronting the regime and engaging in armed uprising against the Islamic government" (Moharebeh and armed uprising against the Islamic government) during the trial.
 

Ayoub Aghaliani was apprehended by Iranian government forces on Friday, October 7, 2023, during public protests in Oshnavieh. Subsequently, on Monday, June 26, 2023, after 262 days of detention, he was granted temporary bail for 21 billion and 250 million tomans until the conclusion of the legal proceedings, leading to his release from the Central Prison of Urmia.
