The Arrest of Four Kurdish Citizens in Divandarreh and Bukan by Iranian Government Forces

A 72-year-old citizen from Bukan, named Ahmad Muazzez, along with Kourosh Abdi, Esmail Barkhordari, both from Divandarreh, and Shahram Ghader Panah, were apprehended by the Islamic Republic forces and subsequently relocated to undisclosed locations.
 

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, On the afternoon of Monday, September 11, 2023, Kourosh Abdi, who works at the Siazakh Reservoir Dam located seven kilometers from Divandarreh, was arrested by Iranian government forces at his workplace through the use of violence.
 

At the same time, Esmail Barkhordari, a driver on the Divandarreh-Sanandaj (Sine) route, was forcefully apprehended at the Sanandaj city terminal by Iranian government forces. He is a 32-year-old resident of Divandarreh and a father of two children.
 

On the contrary, at 3 o'clock this morning, five vehicles filled with government forces conducted a raid on the village of "Kupich" in Baneh, forcibly apprehending Shahram Ghader Panah and subsequently transporting him to an undisclosed location.
 

Yesterday, on September 10th, Ahmad Muazzez, a 72-year-old citizen from Bukan, was apprehended during a government forces raid.
 

According to reliable sources, Iranian government forces conducted a raid on Ahmad Muazzez's residence, during which, as they conducted a search and inspection, they confiscated the mobile phones of all his family members.
 

So far, information regarding the reasons for the arrest, the charges against these four citizens, as well as the location and conditions of their detention, remains unavailable.
