Kurdish man Milad Faridinasab arbitrarily arrested by IRGC Intelligence in Sirvan County

Milad Faridinasab, a Kurdish man from Sirvan County in Ilam Province, has been arbitrarily detained by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Intelligence and remains in limbo at Ilam Central Prison.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Milad Faridinasab, 28 years old, a father of one and a resident of Eslamieh in Sirvan County, has been held for the past 11 days without charge or clear legal status after being arrested by IRGC Intelligence in Ilam.

Sources report that on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, he was transferred from the IRGC detention facility to Ilam Central Prison. Despite earlier promises from intelligence officials that he would be released on bail, Faridinasab remains in detention with no formal charges or legal proceedings.

He was arrested late on Saturday night, July 26, 2025, during a raid by IRGC forces at his residence. His mobile phone was confiscated during the arrest.

No official details have been released regarding the reasons for his arrest or the charges filed against him.
