During an armed assault by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) forces on a residence in Mahabad and subsequent gunfire to break down the entrance doors, at least two young individuals Ashkan Fahim and Reza Andisheh were detained.
According to reports received by the Hangaw organization for Human Rights, in the early hours of Friday, September 15th, 2023, Ashkan Fahim and Reza Andisheh were violently detained in their home located in the Independence Square neighborhood of Mahabad by IRGC forces.
According to an informed source, IRGC forces, wearing masks, forcefully entered the residence after breaking down the entrance door brutally assaulted and detained Ashkan Fahim and Reza Andisheh.
The suppression IRGC forces blocked the alley leading to the residents and used gunfire to create fear and intimidation to prevent resistant from public.
