The arrest of a teacher and a citizen by government forces in Qorveh and Saqqez

Abdollah Abdolmaleki, a retired teacher from Qorveh, and Lughman Bidari, a citizen from Saqqez, were apprehended by Iranian government forces concurrently with the first anniversary of the Woman, Life, Freedom movement.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization For Human Rights, On the evening of Saturday, September 16, 2023, Abdollah Abdolmaleki, a retired teacher from Qorveh, was arrested by a group of IRGC forces.
According to a credible source, Abdollah Abdolmaleki was apprehended on one of the streets in Qorveh after reacting against the Revolutionary Guards' disrespectful behavior towards protesting girls and filming them to build a case against them.
Simultaneously, Lughman Bidari, a 39-year-old resident of Saqqez, was detained by government forces inside the "Khomeini" hospital in the city for undisclosed reasons.
After their arrest, these two Kurdish citizens were relocated to undisclosed locations, and their status remains uncertain.
