Arrest of Ayub Ahmadi in Sanandaj by Government Authorities

Ayub Ahmadi, a young resident of Sanandaj, has been apprehended by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

 

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Ayub Ahmadi, aged 27 and a resident of Aranan village in the Sanandaj district, was arrested on Sunday, October 8, 2023, during a raid conducted by security forces at a garden house.
 

Notably, Ayub Ahmadi is the cousin of Ali and Diyar Ahmadi, who were detained 24 days ago, and their whereabouts have remained undisclosed since their initial arrest.
 

An informed source has indicated that security forces employed force and violence during Ayub Ahmadi’s apprehension.
 

At present, no information is available regarding the grounds for the detention of these three individuals, and the charges against them remain undisclosed. It is worth noting that Ali Ahmadi and Diyar Ahmadi were taken into custody on Friday, September 15, 2023, in Aranan village.
