The death sentences of three prisoners hailing from Kohdasht, Lorestan province, identified as Vahid Kakavand, Fethullah Reshnu, and Vahid Rashidi Garavand, were carried out in the central prisons of Khorramabad and Aligudarz within this province.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, in the early hours of Thursday, October 19, 2023, two prisoners, whose identities have been confirmed as Vahid Kakavand and Fethullah Reshno, were executed in Khorramabad's central prison.
Simultaneously, Vahid Rashidi Garavand was executed in Aligudarz's central prison, located in Lorestan province.
These individuals, Vahid Kakavand, Fethullah Reshnu, and Vahid Rashidi Garavand, were previously arrested on charges related to drug-related offenses and subsequently sentenced to death through the judicial system.
