In recent days, within the confines of Karaj, Khoy, and Kerman prisons, a total of at least five individuals who had been condemned to death for crimes related to drugs, rape, and premeditated murder were executed. Notably, two of these prisoners were Afghan nationals.

According to a report obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the morning of Wednesday, October 25, 2023, the death sentence of a Baloch prisoner, namely Hayatullah Eidouzahi (Brahui), a 30-year-old hailing from Zahedan, was executed in the central prison of Kerman.

As per the Haalvsh news agency, this individual had been apprehended five years prior and subsequently setenced to death handed down by the Kerman Revolutionary Court, stemming from charges of drug-related offenses.

Concurrently, on October 24, the execution of a prisoner known as "A.M." took place within Khoy Central Prison. According to state media, this person had been incarcerated and sentenced to death nine years ago for the crime of homicide.

Simultaneously, in Ghezel Hesar prison in Karaj, the death sentences of two Afghan prisoners, who had previously been condemned for rape, were carried out. The identities of these two prisoners are currently under scrutiny by Hengaw.

Lastly, on Sunday, October 22, the death sentence of a 49-year-old inmate named Davud Heydari was executed in Karaj Central Prison. Mr. Heydari, a resident of Shemiran, had previously received a death sentence for offenses related to drug-related crimes.
