Bonab: Hossein Payeh’s Custody Status remains unknown after Arrest

Hossein Payeh, a Kurdish resident of Bonab City, was apprehended by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran 15 days ago. To date, there is no information available regarding his condition or whereabouts.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Hossein Payeh, a young individual residing in Bonab City, originally from Naqadeh, has been arrested by the forces of the intelligence department and transferred to an undisclosed location.

Based on information from reliable sources, no contact has been established with Hossein Payeh since his arrest, and his family’s attempts to ascertain his well-being have yielded no results.

As of the time of this news release, there is no information on the reasons for his arrest, the charges brought against him, or his current status.

Hossein Payeh was taken into custody during a raid by forces of the Intelligence Department on October 22, 2023.
